How do I update SnAuction?

Download the newer snauction-v* release and replace the jar. Configs auto-merge on restart, so your edits stay.

Does it support Folia?

No, SnAuction is not Folia-compatible. It targets Paper single-server setups.

Where does a seller's money go when an item sells?

It becomes a pending payout. The seller collects it with /ah claim, and notifications.auto-claim pays it automatically a few seconds after joining. A currency with payout: online only pays while the seller is online; EdTools currencies always work that way.

Where do bought items and auction wins go?

With delivery.mode: inventory they go straight to the inventory, and what does not fit waits in /ah purchased. With delivery.mode: storage everything waits in /ah purchased until the player retrieves it.

How long are unclaimed items kept?

storage.retention-days.expired and storage.retention-days.purchased control it, 30 days each by default. Set either to 0 to keep those items forever. /ah admin purge never deletes them.

A currency disappeared and its listings are stuck. Were they deleted?

No. When a currency's backend (Vault or EdTools) is missing, the currency is disabled with a console warning and its listings freeze. Nothing is deleted, and the listings come back once the backend returns.

Why are operators still paying tax?

The snauction.bypass.* nodes default to false and are not children of snauction.admin, so operators do not get them. Grant snauction.bypass.tax explicitly to exempt someone.

How do I stop an item from being sold?

Add a rule to the blacklist in rules.yml and run /ah reload. Rules are also checked on every item inside shulker boxes and bundles. To allow only certain items, enable the whitelist instead.

How do I add or change market categories?

Edit categories.yml and run /ah reload. That file is written once and never updated by the plugin, so your changes are safe. An item that matches no category falls into the fallback category.

Where is market data stored?

In SQLite by default. Switch to MySQL under the database section of config.yml.

Can I show the main command or the history in chat instead of menus?

Yes. Set presentation.main or presentation.history in config.yml to chat.

Does it require PlaceholderAPI?

No. PlaceholderAPI only adds the %snauction_...% placeholders. See Placeholders.

The plugin will not enable and asks for a license

The key in plugins/.Sn-License/license.yml is missing, wrong or expired, or the server cannot reach the license server at startup. Paste a valid bundle key, allow outbound HTTPS, use the jar exactly as downloaded and restart.
