Commands
The root command is /ggwave, with the default alias /okigg. The alias list is command.aliases in config.yml and is re-read on /ggwave reload.
A bare /ggwave shows the help. On a Paper server the commands act on that server. On a Velocity proxy they act on the whole network.
| Command | Permission | Description |
|---|---|---|
/ggwave start <player> <amount...> | ggwave.start | Starts a GG wave for an online player. The amount is every remaining word, shown as you typed it. |
/ggwave <player> <amount...> | ggwave.start | Shortcut for /ggwave start <player> <amount...>. |
/ggwave help | ggwave.use | Shows the help, limited to the commands you may use. |
/ggwave reload | ggwave.admin.reload | Reloads config.yml and the lang file. Running waves keep running. |
/ggwave debug | ggwave.admin.debug | Toggles runtime debug output. Paper only. |
Starting a wave
A start is checked in this order:
- You must hold
ggwave.start. - The player must be online on this server, or on the proxy.
- The amount must be present.
The amount is free text. Extra spaces are collapsed to one, and the result is shown in the announcement and in the {amount} placeholder of reward commands.
For example, /ggwave start Steve 20 USD Rank VIP starts a wave for Steve with the amount 20 USD Rank VIP.
If another plugin cancels the start through the developer API, you get a message saying the wave was cancelled.
/ggwave debug does not exist on a Velocity proxy. There, set debug.enabled in config.yml and run /ggwave reload.
Velocity does not resend its command tree to connected players. An alias added by a reload tab-completes for them only after they reconnect. Typed in full, it works at once.
