How do I update SnProxyUtility?
Download the newer snproxyutility-v* release and replace the jar. Managed configs merge new keys on the next boot.
Does it support Paper or Folia?
No. SnProxyUtility is a Velocity proxy plugin and does not run on Paper, Spigot or Folia.
Why did my proxy not come back after a scheduled restart?
The restart module only shuts the proxy down. Set up a panel auto-restart, a systemd Restart=always unit or a loop in your start script.
Why is the command blocker not doing anything?
It ships switched off. Set modules.command-blocker: true in config.yml, edit blockcommands.yml and run /snproxy reload.
Why did a blocked /msg go through?
Velocity disconnects a player when a proxy plugin denies a command the client signed: a 1.19.3+ command with a signed message argument (/msg <player> <message>, /tell, /me...) or any typed command of a 1.19.1/1.19.2 client with secure chat. The blocker never kicks, so it lets such a command through. With an up-to-date tab list the client does not know a blocked command and sends it unsigned, so it is blocked normally; the gap only opens while a player's command tree is stale (after /snproxy reload or a group change, until their next server switch or relog) and for 1.19.1/1.19.2 clients. Block those commands on the backend too to close it completely.
Does auto-reconnect work without a fallback server?
No. It needs Velocity to redirect the kicked player to another server from the try list in velocity.toml.
Can I run it with SnMOTD or SnVelocityRestart?
No. Their features are built into the motd and restart modules. Remove the old plugins or switch the matching module off.
