SnStaff

SnStaff is a backend-only staff suite for Paper networks. It covers staff mode, vanish, freeze, follow, invsee, network staff chat, action logging and staff rank sync, with no proxy plugin required.
Features
- Staff mode with a locked tool hotbar (random teleport, compass, freeze, vanish, invsee, follow). Your whole player state is backed up to the database and restored on exit, even after a crash.
- Staff mode blocks damage, PvP and every placement (blocks, item frames, paintings, armor stands, boats and minecarts). You cannot enter it while frozen.
- Staff-visible vanish with leak protection, silent containers and a live read-only invsee. Vanished players are also hidden from the locator bar on 1.21.6 and newer.
- Follow:
/follow <player>spectates a player. Outside staff mode you return to your gamemode and location when it ends. - Freeze with a freeze chat room, an ice helmet and an optional punishment when the player quits.
/freeze <player>toggles the freeze. - Network-wide staff chat and admin chat. Staff notices cover connections, staff mode and freezes, and tell a server switch from a leave.
- Full staff action logging in the database with routed Discord webhooks. Sensitive command arguments are masked before anything is stored.
- Optional LuckPerms staff rank sync with revert protection, a hashed 4-digit staff PIN typed on a 3x3 keypad, and per-staff statistics.
- Every module is toggleable, and cross-server features run over one shared MySQL database.
- A developer API for other plugins: six cancellable events and a read-only query service. See Developer API.
Optional integrations
SnStaff runs on SnLib alone. Three optional plugins unlock extra behavior when present:
- LuckPerms: staff rank sync and protection. Without it the ranks module logs a warning and the rank of chat, routing and notices falls back to none.
- PlaceholderAPI: exposes the
%snstaff_*%placeholders. - HalosPlayerSpoofer: fake players are excluded from random teleport. It is reached by reflection, with a layered bot filter as the fallback.
EssentialsX is not an integration. It can run next to SnStaff, which loads after it. /vanish and /invsee are always SnStaff's own, and there is no hand-over to Essentials.
